Green, Tan, and Red all over

Hallelujah! Finally we got a dishwasher. Prior to this the only dishwasher we had was me. To mark this auspicious occasion I busted out two never worn dresses. I wore them together due to their lightweight nature. I also wore a scarf that I had almost forgot about until I saw Sarah over at That Damn Green Dress in this amazing dress.

I also attended a class put on by our local chapter of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). It was a first person account of one family's experience with mental illness. It was such a heart wrenching story. As difficult as it can be to deal with individuals who have mental illness, it is 10 times more difficult to be experiencing mental illness, sometimes I forget that.

On an unrelated note. I have a special place in my heart for jersey shore. I happened across a re-run and rekindled my love affair with the show. How can you not appreciate the fist-pumping, GTL, insanely gelled hair that is the jersey shore?

  2. Love the layered dresses and the red accents! Cool outfit and photos. The snowy background is so pretty:)

Yay for your new dishwasher and for GTL! I loved the first season of Jersey Shore, but kind of lost interest after that (After a certain point the Ronnie vs. Sammy fighting gets realy old). The fist-pumping is pretty rad though!

  9. You are so pretty! You're rocking that scarf - I would never know how to pull something like that off. I love that it was your grandma's.

I participated in a NAMI walk with Sarah last summer.
